CIMS Dealership Management System Interface with ADP Elite DMS

CIMS is the first to fully integrate with the ADP Dealership Management System (DMS). In the past, others have performed rudimentary interfaces by “screen scraping” the contents of the ADP DMS for data. CIMS gathers and supplies data electronically with the ADP DMS. CIMS has the only bi-directional interface on the market today.

CIMS passes customer and vehicle information to and from the ADP DMS. An ADP Repair Order (RO) number is obtained from the ADP DMS and used within CIMS for processing the RO. Parts processing is accomplished via the ADP DMS PRO module. CIMS will query the Parts module to obtain the invoice information electronically with no double-entry required.

Our Goals:  Single customer record throughout all dissimilar electronic systems and no double-entry of information.

Features of the interface include:

bulletSearch for Customers/Vehicles on the ADP DMS from within CIMS.

bulletCreate Customer and Vehicle information on the ADP DMS from CIMS.

bulletCreate the Repair Order using Estimating System information from CIMS

bulletPre-assign Parts on the ADP DMS from CIMS so that they are ready for processing

bulletReceive Parts invoicing information electronically from the ADP DMS into CIMS.

bulletClose out the Repair Order normally on CIMS and the ADP DMS.

bulletUtilizes ADP's highly efficient XML web interface technology.

Dealership Groups having multiple dealerships and one or two collision centers supporting that Dealership Group can enjoy the benefit of CIMS ability to interface with multiple DMS applications (either ADP or Reynolds and Reynolds) at multiple Dealerships. Again, this truly demonstrates CIMS flexibility.
